UNWIZE · LAST UPDATED 8 OCTOBER 2026
1. What we collect
- Account basics: name, email, password (hashed), photo, phone — only what you give us during signup and onboarding.
- Your prep data: subjects you chose, target universities, answers, time-per-question, scores, streaks.
- Test integrity signals: tab switches and fullscreen exits during an attempt, logged only while a test is live.
- Payment confirmation: handled by Razorpay; we store the order/payment IDs and amount, never your card details.
- Standard tech signals: IP and device/browser type, to keep things fast and safe.
2. Why we collect it
To run your account, score your tests, build your dashboard and recommendations, keep exams fair, process purchases, and improve Unwize. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising profiles. Ever.
3. Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase (our database and auth provider) on managed infrastructure. Payments run through Razorpay. Both are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions.
4. What students (and parents) should know
Most of our users are 16–19. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the platform, avoid tracking beyond the product, and delete accounts and personal data on request. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian can contact us at any time at hello@unwize.in.
5. How long we keep it
While your account is active, plus up to 90 days after deletion for backup restoration. Purchase records are retained as required by tax law. Anonymised aggregate statistics (e.g. “average score on Mock 04”) may be kept without identifying anyone.
6. Your rights
You can see, correct, export or delete your data from your profile page or by emailing hello@unwize.in. Deletion removes your profile, attempts and answers; purchases are refunded per the Refund Policy where it applies.
7. Security
Row-level security in the database ensures you can only ever read your own attempts and purchases. Correct answers to questions never reach your browser before you submit. Access keys are stored only in server-side environment variables.
8. Contact
Data questions? Email hello@unwize.in — a human reads it.
